We are now well into the 1976 Alumni Fund drive. Now that the April showers are behind us and the rebate is back from the IRS (!), write a check to the Alumni Fund. If you've given, give a little more.

When we last heard from Dann Lewis (Box 329, Durham, N.H. 03824) he was basking in the sun in the Bahamas. And, he was asking a lot of other people to do so, since he was director of marketing for the Ministry of Tourism and for the local airlines, Bahamasair. However, Dann's paternal instinct was stronger than his sun-worshipping instinct. Consequently, he moved from Miami to New Hampshire where he found better educational facilities for his kids. Now, he is looking for a marketing job in New England that will take advantage of his ability to promote water skiing and scuba diving! Seriously, that was months ago and we haven't heard yet if Dann has found the job he wants. Dann, had you considered Air New England? It'll make Bahamasair look like a pussy cat!

To match Dann's 15 years in the Bahamas business, Lee Ambrose (11 Ivy Lane, Denver, Colo. 80220) has spent 14 years in Denver, now as president of Ambrose and Company Realtors. He's also president of Downtown Denver, Inc., and chairman of the Colorado State Highway Commission. His wife Juli is an assistant professor at the Colorado Dental School while maintaining her practice twice a week. With that combination, if one can't get your mouth in order, the other will find you a plot where you don't have to talk to anyone!

Speaking of not saying too much, we heard from Mona Young, wife of Bob Young (6611 Forest Bend, N., San Antonio, Texas 78240) who dropped us a note since, she says, Bob "is a man of few words." Bob is the chief of the endocrine-metabolic service in the Wilford Hall U.S.A.F. Medical Center. His staff was recently awarded a certificate for outstanding performance. Bob uses that knowledge as a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. And with that background and training, would you believe that Bob is judo chairman of the South Texas A.A.U! I guess if he can't get you on the inside, he'll work on the outside. Mona, thanks for the scoop.

Also in the service of our country is WarrenHuse (P.O. Box 5329, Fort Hood, Tex. 76544) who recently returned to Fort Hood from a six. month jaunt in Wildflecken! Wildflecken?, You ask! One of the most exciting communities it Germany you'll ever want to visit! Righ. Warren??

It must be the month for wives... Catty Ceranski, wife of Terry Ceranski (7034 N. 13th Place, Phoenix, Ariz 85020) says that, in addition to his medical practice and teaching in St Joseph's Hospital, Terry is actively involved in Scouting. But his ambition with Scouting may be getting the best of him: He is hoping to take his Cub Scouts on a hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon this spring or summer. Okay Terry, that's fine... but how are you gonna get 'em out?

And speaking of getting it out, Myron Lewis (910 Madison, Memphis, Tenn. 38104) sent an ever-so-brief-note late last year... something to do with gastro-something-ologist. Whatever it is, it's obviously something to do with stomach-pumping! Seriously, Myron is one of our dedicated classmates, as he is the president of the Memphis Dartmouth Club.

From Columbia, Missouri, we hear that Sam Werner (1027 Vegas Drive, Columbia, Missouri 65201) has returned to academia, joining the physics department at the University of Missouri. That's after spending 11 years in the physics department of the Ford Motor Company.

And, a word from another '59 wife - Marse Dare of Joe Dare fame (6909 Tordera Street, Coral Gables, Fla. 33146). Joe had a great 1975, getting his law degree from the University of Miami, passed the bar exam and joined the local firm of Mahoney, Hadlow, Chambers and Adams. Marse says, "Our family includes daughter Tiki (9), Joe (6), a sailboat daredevil (3) and wife Marse (age unavailable at this time)." Marse, you can't keep that a secret from '59ers. We've got a pretty good count on it!

Gang, I'd like to pass along more news... but that's it. I haven't heard word one in the past three months. This is not a case where no news is good news. Take a couple of minutes to drop me a note and tell of what's happening. During this time of the Alumni Fund when some of your thoughts may go back to Hanover, take the time to tell fellow 's9ers about your lives. Let's get into the spirit of '76. Okay?
