Among the notes I received at Christmas time was one from Mrs. Chester A. Phillips, wife of the dean emeritus of the School of Business of the University of lowa and our former professor at Dartmouth. The Phillipses were from Indiana, and they were especially nice to Duze and me, two Hoosier boys away from home, while we were in Hanover. Their record of 74 years of married life is matched by very few couples. His students at lowa have established in his honor a substantial fund for the granting of scholarships. The building housing the School of Business is named Phillips Hall. He was, in every respect, a highly respected educator.

It is now quite definite that 1915 will have a get-together the weekend of September 30- October 1, 1977. So work out your time-table so you will be sure to be with us at that time. Hanover will be particularly attractive at that time of year.
