Last fall this column reported that John Foster had joined the executive recruiting firm of Boyden Associates Inc. He has been named vice president and partner of that firm.

A conversation piece in my office is the blue model B&M freight car Richard Harris sent to me following an item on his association with Fundimensions and Lionel Trains. Richard has now become vice president-home sewing division of Wm. E. Wright Co., located in West Warren, Mass.

More California items. Colman Colla of Newport Beach is with North American Rockwell. Stu Clark lives in Pasadena, works in the aerospace field, and refurbishes old homes. Dr. Ben McAdams is practicing medicine in San Luis Obispo. Dr. MarkSaginor offers this medical advice: "The fit of your clothes, the mirror, and the tape measure are the true barometers of your success in weight loss." Mark's robust picture and personal recipe for "Souper Soup" are an awesome combination in the diet column of a local newspaper.

The election results from Hudson, N.H., haven't reached Chicago by dateline but hopefully the voters selected candidate JoeJacquet for the town committee. Joe is the purchasing agent for Normandeau Associates, an environmental consulting firm.

One advantage of the ministry, often eschewed by practitioners, is the opportunity to ponder the larger issues. Rev. Richard Martin delivered a series of slide-illustrated Lenten lectures on the origins of the human race, showing how the accounts of science and the book of Genesis mesh together. Rev. Martin is the Rector of St. James Episcopal Church, Amesbury, Mass. That certainly sounds like more fun than selling mutual funds, writing briefs, or taking out an appendix. Rick has also written an original drama entitled "The Trial of Judas Iscariot."

Walt Vail just called to urge you to attend the class reunion. The enthusiasm in his voice and the delightful program he described were equally compelling. He emphasized that children will be welcomed with a "super program" of their own under excellent supervision. Bring the kids! The Mini-Horizons program Thursday and Friday morning under the direction of Dean Ralph Manuel has drawn rave reviews from many alumni. It is highly recommended, has an attendance limitation, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Class of 1958 starts its program on Friday with a 3:00 p.m. discussion on "What Were the Great Issues of 1958." Paul Zeller conducts his farewell Glee Club concert. Trustee HarryDodds will offer some informal remarks at the class dinner.

This is the proverbial last minute for the undecided. If you can possibly attend, even if you have not sent in a reservation, Walter Vail says that you can call him toll-free 800-221-7012 and he will do everything possible to help you to make arrangements. June 15-17, 1979.

This puzzling photograph of U.S. Navy Commander Tom Harper '56 was sent byNA TO's Allied Forces Southern Europe Headquarters in Naples, Italy. Harper's friendsare not Sea Scouts, but 21-year-old twins enlisted in the Women's Royal Naval Service. The reason Commander Harper is scratching, according to information from NATO, isthat one WREN succeeded her sister as his radar plotter. Carry on, Harper.
