With the snow melting and the sap flowing, President Kemeny has been moving throughout the land spreading the Green gospel. We've tried to arrange class get-togethers in connection with each one of his talks. March 25 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, our group consisted of all doctors Jack Auerbach, WadeSherwood, Ben Dew, and Len Johnson. Actually, Len is a Ph.D., but that's close. TonyFrank could not make it at the last minute. Down in Los Angeles, Bob Newsom was in charge of the entire dinner. John Cernius and Perry Free were there, among others. At this writing, the tenth anniversary dinner of the New York Club is scheduled for the Plaza on April 8. Don Smith is in charge, assisted by Dick Greene. We are contributing the first annual Class of '53 Attendance Cup, to be awarded annually to the class with the greatest number of members in attendance. More details in next month's issue. Later in the month there will be a dinner in Boston headed by John Home. And in mid-May there is an affair in Chicago to be run by Dick Loewenthal.

In Hanover, for freshmen parents weekend, there will be a '53 class reception for all parents and anybody else in the area. Ron Lazar is making the arrangements.

Graduation weekend in Hanover, we are having our annual '53 cocktail party, reception, and dinner at the Hanover Inn. It will get under way late Saturday afternoon, June 7. Ann andDan Ernst are making all the arrangements and will be in charge. Again, the affair is open to all members of the class, not just the parents of the graduates. If you can possibly make it, please come.

No report from the ski week at Dillon, Colo., yet. Hopefully next month.

Any issue with football ticket applications would not be complete without our elaborate plans for the first ten-game season since 1903.

October 10-12 at William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Va., Bruce Gilmore has planned a full three-day weekend. And Monday is Columbus Day if your company is of that persuasion. Class headquarters will be at Hospitality House. We have ten rooms reserved there and another ten at the Holiday Inn, 1776. Friday evening there will be a class cocktail party. Saturday noon there will be a tent lunch for all Dartmouth. Look for the '53 banner and our class table. Saturday night a College banquet is planned; attending will be President Kemeny, Dean Manuel '58, and Seaver Peters '54, among others. Sunday there will be a seminar on local history to be led by Professor Jere Daniell.

The following weekend, October 18, Harvard comes to Hanover for the fourth time since the War. We have reserved 26 rooms at the Norwich Inn and 15 rooms at the Suisse Chalet. After the bonfire Friday night there will be a '53 table at the Hanover Inn. Saturday will be a traditional long day. It starts with a class meeting at the Norwich Inn in the morning. Then lunch at the Leverone Field House before the game. Afterwards, Chuck and Else Luker are having us all over to their house on North Park for a cocktail party. And then it is back to the Norwich Inn for a class banquet.

November 1, Yale comes to Hanover. Post- game toasting or roasting will be at Nan andBilly Johnson's house up on Rayton Road. GilShapiro is also planning a get-together November 6 in Providence when the Big Green plays Brown.

That sounds like a pretty full schedule. Make plans now. Write for reservations while there is still space available.
