Last week, Atlanta survived a huge snow storm which closed all the schools and courthouses and made me very grateful for two days of holiday. This week I am back in my office wading through stacks of papers, after being in Fulton County Superior Court (the one you see on "Matlock"), trying an aggravated-assaultagainst-a-police-officer case. Today I am trying to get organized and watch the Clemson-Wake Forest basketball game.

Steve Deitz, our president, has asked me to announce that anyone interested in being on the nominating committee should write him at 18 Cranberry Street, Brooklyn Heights, NY 11201, or call him at the office, 212/559-1033. Anyone interested in chairing our 15th Reunion, or working on it in 1989, should also contact Steve. Anyone interested in working on the reunion giving committee should contact Bill Cater at 630 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ 07869.

Congratulations to Steve and his wife, Martha, who had Evan Nicholas Deitz on Christmas Day. Martha has taken some time off from teaching legal writing at Brooklyn Law School to be with the baby.

Tom Eggleston reports that he had a record television audience to watch the last of 26 hours of CBS coverage of the Games. They had about one million live spectators and made a profit. On October 1 Tom started working with Rausberg Corporation which is traded on the American Stock Exchange, based in Indianapolis, and is a high-tech automated equipment manufacturer. He is vice president and general counsel and responsible for mergers and acquisitions. The corporation's primary source of revenue is from plants in Europe and Japan. Tom and his wife, Kathy, have a son Jimmy, ten months old. Kathy is a pediatrician.

Congratulations to Freddie Fu, M.D., who was named one of three European traveling fellows by the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine for the spring of 1988. This is a five-week fellowship which is awarded every other year.

Paul Erland '72 is looking for the address of Howie Baum, a friend of his from our class. I don't have his current address so if any of you do, please contact Paul at 3880 Priest Lake Drive #4B, Nashville, TN 37217.

Joseph P. Albanesi and Gail Tamlinson are proud parents of gorgeous twins, Eva and Nicholas, who were born November 9, 1987, thereby doubling the size of their family. Joe is presently teaching and doing research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Gail recently finished her residency in pediatrics. They live in Dallas, Tex.

I really need some support from my classmates—news of what you are doing! It's too expensive to call Rick Ranger in California.
