Class President Mutt Jennings called a meeting of the 1928 Executive Committee at Class Officers Weekend in Hanover on April 27 to plan for the 65 th Reunion. Jerry Sass and Curly Prosser are co-chairmen of the reunion committee, with Jerry in charge of public relations and Curly in charge of housekeeping arrangements. Curly anticipates some difficulty with arrangements for a post-reunion gathering at a nearby resort, as many now are having financial difficulties. Art Kneerim's wife, Lee has kindly agreed to recruit the ladies, and Larry Martin has accepted the awesome responsibility of shepherding them on arrival. It was decided to plan a big mini-reunion for 1992 as a warm-up for the big one rather than for a big attendance this October. Jerry Sass was elected a vice president and Jack Zellers treasurer following Doc Simonds' resignation.

Don Solis, well-known authority on classmate activities in western Florida, some time ago found his ideal retirement home on Dartmouth Lane in Sarasota. The street name, obviously, was the clincher. There is a Dartmouth Club in Sarasota as well as an Ivy League Club, and Don regularly attends the meetings and functions of both. Don says Lane and Betty Dwinell visit Sarasota regularly between January and April each year and Lane keeps up his membership in both clubs. Don's note that followed our telephone conversation mentioned that others in the area whom he sees frequendy include GeorgeKlein and Sue Bavier, Ralph's widow.

A fanny article in the March issue of Smithsonian magazine, "Dave Henderson was becoming an embarrassment," is highly recommended reading. The author, James Nelson, was secretary of Yale's class of' 43 and suffered the usual dilemma of no news from classmates. So he dreamed up one and reported on his often fantastic and outrageous activities for years before questions were raised. Spare me the temptation!

We regret to report the deaths of HapHarwood on February IS, Ted Howard on February 25, Jim Newton on April 10, and Woody Houghton on May 18.
