In the business world, Johnson and Higgins has named Eric Dalrymple vice president and corporate treasurer. Prior to joining the nation-wide insurance broker, Eric had been treasurer of Crane Company, a producer of aeorospace, construction and defense products. At last report, Eric and his wife, Penny, were living in New Canaan, Conn., putting the finishing touches on raising two daughters, Susan and Amy.

Von Beebe recently eoauthored a book entitled Bilingual Schooling and the Miami Experience. Von is an administrator in the Dade County, Fla., school system and has chronicled the development of one of the first modern bilingual school programs in the country. "This book should be considered must reading for any educator in the U.S. who is interested in bilingual education," reports E.F. Provenzo, professor of education at the University of Miami.

Several of our classmates convened in Hanover on April 26 for the annual Class Officers Weekend. One of the highlights was a luncheon for the ninth annual Class of '62 Faculty Fellowship, awarded this year to Professor Michael Mastanduno of the government department. Michael got his graduate degree from Princeton, served under Carla Hills as a special assistant to the U.S. Trade representative, and has been at Dartmouth since 1987. Dan Tompkins, John Clark,Gene Gasbarro, Gordy and Virginia Williams and Cary Clark were among the luncheonees.
