In about a month, well over 100 classmates will be flocking to Hanover for our 30th (really the 31st, but what the hey!). Tom Komarek and his reunion committee have done an excellent job in planning the June 14-17 program; your presence is needed to make it a success. And take heart; after June you have a new secretary to setyour significant life tics in prose.
The 1992 edition of Who's Who in Connecticut includes John Reese. Rhesus is a partner with the New Canaan law firm of Reese, Hirsch, Reynolds and Kennedy, having joined the firm in 1962. He is active in the American, Connecticut, and New Canaan bar associations and concentrates in corporate retirement plans and estate planning. Rhesus and Patricia live in Ridgefield and enjoy strapping on the skinny skis. It was a very good snow year in New England for a change.
Bucknell University recently dipped into the class talent pool by naming Stu Heydt to its board of trustees. As you may remember, Stu is the president of the Geisinger Foundation, a major healthcare provider in northern Pennsylvania. He is also a director of the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company, the Northeastern Bank of Pennsylvania, and several other organizations. Stu and his wife Judy, live in Shavertown, Pa.
In N.Y.C. the Jewish Theological Seminary of America named Steve Roth a director. Steve is managing partner of Interstate Properties and chairman of Vornado Inc. He is also a director of Alexander's Inc. and a trustee of the Barnert Memorial Hospital and the Horace Mann School (also a former trustee of a small business school on Tuck Drive). Steve and his wife, Daryl, and two children, Amanda and Jordan, hang it up in Ridgewood, N.J.
See you in Hanover in June.
