As hard as it is to imagine, planning is underway for our Fifth Reunion, which will take place in June of next year (1992 minus 1987 equals five what a concept). Matt Mcllwain will be in charge of all planning for the reunion, and he is assembling the reunion committee as we speak (or rather, as you read). All interested parties can contact me at the address below, and I'd be happy to get you in touch with Matt. The more, the merrier!

Well, on with the news parade. During the spring I recieved a curious post card from Aaron Deykin on which he reported that his third year of medical school was keeping him more than busy, especially since he must decide on a specialty soon. Now, he did not mention exactly what school he is attending, and the postcard came from Antilles in the West Indies, so I am left to draw my own conclusion (I love doing that!). Either Aaron was on vacation, or he is attending Antilles U. and will be specializing in tan maintenance with a concentration in sunburn prevention.

Aaron also mentioned that he had attended the wedding of Chrissie Stearns and MikeDrescher last summer. Apparently there was a large number of classmates there (more than would fit on a postcard), so I hope to include tales from said nuptials in a later column.

Kim Jacobs is in one of those "in between" periods now that she has finished an eight month job as an associate producer for an institutional investment show on television. She might want to chat with Suzanne Pence, who coordinates tours and conferences for Institutional Investor magazine in New York. Per- sonally, I think most investors belong in an institution, but what do I know?

Kim has been keeping tabs on DaphneEviatar, who has finished her first year of law school at NYU, and Julie Grossberg, who shoots TV shows in Los Angeles (we can all think of some shows that deserve to be shot, can't we?). Also, it appears that Clare Killeen is moving up the ranks at Saatchi and Saatchi advertising.

I guess summer is the ideal transition season. Meg Crone is working in a health club this summer, having left her public relations job in the spring. All of this is in preparation for her entry into Harvard's graduate school of education in the fall. She plans to enjoy scuba diving, fly fishing, and hiking in the meantime. As a small sidelight activity, Meg ran in (and finished, I might add) the Boston Marathon, along with Kathleen Joyce,Christine Foley Kollmorgen, DianeDeLuca, and Chris Carter.

On the other side of the Atlantic, RichardMiddelberg has been on the run. Richard began working for Leon Constantin and Company, a French-based audit and accounting firm, in New York following graduation. He earned his C.P.A. (stands for Counts Pretty Accurately) last year and deferred admission to the Wharton Business School to take an assignment for Constantin in Madrid. Since then, he has started up an office there, hired staff, tried to please thirteen or so clients, and learned enough Spanish to keep from starving. He is now back in the U.S. and will take Wharton up on its offer this fall.

In other news of "I do's," Scott Rusert and his new wife, Anne, are in Minneapolis this summer, where Scott is clerking for the law firm of Faergre and Benson. The two were married at the end of last summer before Scott returned to law school at the University of Buffalo. Among the wedding party were JackBohn, who has just finished at Tuck, JeffSchwartz, who will be at Harvard Business School this fall, and John Jakiemiec, who works for Prudential in San Francisco.

Well, I'm happy to say that I have much more to pass on in future columns. Be sure to stay tuned, and start thinking reunion thoughts!
