Jim Beardsley is president and CEO of Master Lock, the Wisconsin-based company known for its quality products and impactful advertising. In addition to running a 2,000-person international concern, Jim is very active in Milwaukee affairs, including the Greater Milwaukee Committee, the Milwaukee Transportation Commission, and the Boys & Girls Club Board. Peggy is busy with a range of civic and school responsibilities. Craig, 24, works in Atlanta for General Re Insurance, Stacy, 22, a recent Boston College grad, is employed by Anderson Consulting, and Kate, 17, is a senior at Milwaukee's University School. To clarify Steve Shipp's previously reported affairs: Steve is an associate professor of fine arts at Boston's Emerson College, where he has taught for 22 years. He's a doctoral candidate at Harvard's Graduate School of Education, and Steve no longer considers himself an accomplished photographer, although he takes plenty of snapshots of twoyear-old Harry.
