At our age, in the beginning nineties, our classmates are not engaged in very many exciting events, but we are pleased to boast of our children or grandchildren.

Lester Stevens in Ridgewood, N.J., is jusdy proud of his granddaughter Rhoda, to be 18 in February, a senior in high school way out west in Santa Rosso, Calif. With her high grades which Les proudly reports, it is to be hoped that she might elect to travel all the way across the country to attend that renowned college in Hanover, N.H.

And Vine Baldwin is proud of his daughter Priscilla. She graduated from Smith College in 1953 and has advanced degrees from Vanderbilt and Brown. She is a professional artist and illustrator, has her own studio in Providence, and has had art shows at a number of places throughout the years.

At Smith, the curator of the art museum has invited her to exhibit her oils and water colors during the reunion and commencement activities in June.

In addition to her work, Priscilla is a parttime instructor at Brown, Rhode Island School of Design, and the University of Rhode Island. All this while bringing up two sons, one a graduate of Tufts and also an artist; the older at Columbia, working toward his Ph.D.

I am hoping other proud parents and grandparents will send news of their progeny for future class notes.
