Only a couple of missives received this month, as I'm sure everyone is saving up their stories for Reunion. Don't worry if you don't have any good ones. You can always make them up as I do.
Here's what I do know. Real Estate Weekly in New York reports that Richard Papert has joined the Lefrak Organization as vice president of acquisitions and finance. Prior to joining Lefrak, Richard was vice president in the real-estate department of Goldman, Sachs doing—you guessed it—acquisitions and finance. Before that he was with The Boston Consulting Group and also an officer of the Chase Manhattan Bank. Nice credentials. I'd like to omit the Harvard M.8.A., but unfortunately I need to fill as much space as possible. So... Richard received his M.B.A. from Harvard in 1987 and is currently living in Manhattan.
I received a very distinctive announcement and a nice note from Amelia Craig regarding her September union to Josephine Cole, Converse College '84. "Jody and I were 'married' in a formal ceremony where we both wore white dresses, and our fathers walked us down the aisle. Both our families attended hers from Alabama, mine from Arizona. The ceremony and a formal dinner-dance took place at the Palace Hotel, an old San Francisco landmark. Alyson Pytte was in attendance, just having moved to San Francisco from Anchorage."
Amelia says that Alyson is an investigator for the city of San Francisco, though what she investigates I do not know. I am also clueless regarding both Amelia and Jody's occupations. Perhaps I'll have Alyson investigate.
I should also investigate my mailman who once again appears to be withholding all those wonderful letters you've been sending me. Not to worry. Next time I'll have my imagination on overdrive. The lies I tell will be about you.
