On April 19, during Class Officers Weekend, the class executive committee voted that the Alumni Magazine will be sent only to those widows of classmates who (1) either pay the annual class dues (currently $31), (2) pay for the magazine at the current rate, (3) or are giving to the Alumni Fund Memorial Gift campaign; and that the class newsletter will continue to be sent to all widows regardless. This action was taken because of the deficits the class treasury has recently been running.

Sorry to have to report the loss of Ray-Robinson on April 21. Katherine thoughtfully sent a copy of Ray's obituary, and wrote that he'd spent the last three and a half years in a local nursing care center, always enjoying her reading the Alumni Magazine to him. She noted that Ray remembered helping move the books to Baker Library while it was being built.

Virginia Ryder wrote thanking me for my note of condolence in her loss of Charlie. Dartmouth, she reported, was one of his great loves. Also she wrote that he'd had a tough last 18 months which, he endured with no complaints and great dignity-
