Tim Mitchell is our 10th Reunion chair, and he needs help from volunteers. Contact him at or call (607) 844-3312. Tim is a doctoral student in theater studies at Cornell and directs a Theatre in Prisons for Youth program. He and his wife, Elizabeth, expect a baby in July.

Dan Estabrook has more detail on the September wedding of Scott Bertetti and Karen Dietz in New York. In attendance were Russell Stevens and his wife, Jill, RonGrant, Drs. Walter Mutter and Cindy Korzelius (married in 1996), David Goran,Christy Gilmartin, Brian Storr, PhilFebbo, Kathleen Morgan, Bill Bundy,Diana Carlson, and Scott's favorite entertainer, Meatloaf. Two weeks later, with almost the same guest list, John Ranieri married Janelle Zarecor in Memphis, Tenn. After a pilgrimage to Graceland, all gathered for the nuptials. Dan himself is a product manager for ISDN at Pacific Bell, and loving California.

Michael Silberling is director of finance for Harrah's Entertainment in Las Vegas. He returned from New Zealand a year ago, where he ran Harrah's Pacific Rim development. He's now working on his golf game in the desert.

Roberta L. Millstein received her Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota in August, and now teaches philosophy at Cal State Hayward. JackieHanlon Rosati tells us that JohnitaSimmons married Daniel Kehl of Sweden last April. They live in Zurich.

James Grosser will marry Meredith Sanderow in Dayton, Ohio, in March 1998. After a honeymoon in Paris they'll return to D.C. Meredith is a convention services manager for Rennaissance Hotels; James recendy joined Shaw Pittman Potts & Trowbridge, where he is a tax attorney representing corporations investing in affordable housing projects nationwide.

James sent news of Ruth Cserr, who along with her companion, Robert Savell, bought a house in Orford, N.H. (mailing address: "The White Cape on Dame Hill Road"). Ruth and Robert are both working on Ph.D.s: hers in architecture at Princeton and his in computer science at Dartmouth.

Dorothy Price transferred with Goldman Sachs from Frankfort to Tokyo. She remains in credit/ratings advisory, with regional responsibility for Japan and Southeast Asia. Dorothy frequently sees Kendra Lehnertz, also in Tokyo and quite proficient in Japanese.

New Yorkers Mary Flounders-Green and Jeff Hoover wrote of their trip to Chicago to catch Rachel Dratch's show at Second City. Rachel won the Jeff Award (Chicago's Tony) for "Best Actress in a Review." Her show, Paradigm Lost, also won "Best Production." Her improvisational work with Mel Gibson was written up in Entertainment Weekly. Mel gave birth to Rachel during a skit and "held her like a little baby! Talk about job perks!" Jeff is the managing editor of Facts on File, a research journal, and Mary is a media relations officer for Bear Stearns. Jeff reports that MatthewGarcia has recently joined a publishing company on his floor.

Kathy Corbett Brooks and her husband, Tim Brooks, had a daughter, Jenna on June 30. Though three months early, after ten weeks in the NICU she weighed in at a healthy nine pounds! Jenna joins big sister Delaney. Kathy teaches second grade at a private school in Indianapolis, and Tim works for the State of Indiana property tax board.

After nine years in Washington StephenDavidson and his wife, Cecile returned to Bermuda. Stephen will be manager of new business and product development at the Bermuda Stock Exchange () one of the fastest growing offshore stock markets listing companies and mutual funds worldwide. John Paul Skinner is another "Bermuda Onion" alum on the island.

Karen Avenoso died on February 25 after a heroic nine-month struggle with cancer. In memory of Karen and" her commitment to helping others, her family has asked that donations be made to the Karen Avenoso '88 Scholarship Fund, c/o Melanie Norten, Stewardship Office, Dartmouth College, 63 S. Main St., Hanover, NH 03755-2047.
