Lots to talk about this month, folks, so let's get right to it. First, we have a Minnesota update, brought to you by Nick Thomey, who serves as director of customer operations at Object/FX Corp., a St. Paul-based software company. Nick and wife Katie recendy brought a son into the world (Joseph) to complement daughter Lilly (now two years old). Nick reports that Eric Anderson is teaching, coaching baseball, and along with wife Michell welcomed daughter Ellie Grace to the family last March. John Donnelly and wife Jeannie have two daughters, Audra and Erin. 01' J.D., who patrolled the blue line so well for men's hockey, works for Frauenshuh Management Cos., a local real-estate developer. Joe Moore's at AmeriPride in Minneapolis and has a three-year-old son named Fisher.

Dan Isaacs checked in not too long ago from Boston, where he's been in institutional sales/consulting for asset manager Fidelity Investments for 11 years. Dan's also been married for 11 years and has a daughter who's three. Dan offered several news nuggets about Ken Ferree he's a lawyer "at some firm in D.C., and bought a new motorcycle that he won't let me ride."

And then there's this from the estimable Bob Thurber: Bob returned to the Goodspeed Opera House in Chester, Conn., to "production stage manage" PSM to those of you in the know—a musical revue of songs by a fellow named John Forster. These songs included "The Juice a la Seuss" which (I can't resist) takes O.J. to a new level. "I did not slash/I did not hit/OK I hit a little bit/But I did not kill my precious wife/I did not do it with a knife." The show is called, aptly, Both Barrels.

Ken Weinstein has been named senior vice president of strategic planning and product development in the credit-card services division of People's Bank, headquartered in Bridgeport, Conn.

Joseph Dempsey is making waves at PNC Bank, where he's been appointed executive vice president and market manager of the New Jersey Corporate Bank. In his new role, it appears Joe has way, way too much to do. He's responsible for the commercial bank, large corporate, leveraged finance, middle market, and (my favorite) entertainment and hospitality groups. Joe's been at PNC since 1996. Prior to that he was at Manufacturers Hanover Bank and Chemical Bank for 13 years. He's got an M.B.A. from NYU, is married to D'Maris, and has two sons. Kathy Provost is also on the move, recently joining EXL Group (Andover, Mass.), where she coaches/consults clients in the areas of organizational and individual change and development. RichardO'Connell also was in the news not too long ago, thanks to the sale of MovieFone (his company) to America Online. News sources indicate that MovieFone was bought for about $388 million. Messr. O'Connell (whom we're hoping was a shareholder) had been senior VP of marketing since 1996. Here's hoping you had a great summer. Remember to write often!
