Katie Sams recently co-authored Peacekeepingin Africa: Capabilities and Culpabilities, while she served as a research fellow at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research. Katie graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and has a masters degree in international relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva. Deb Tripaldi Faulkner has been promoted to assistant vice president of strategy and business planning at Tufts Health Plan in Needham, Massachusetts. Deb formerly worked at Mercer Management Consulting in Washington, D.C., and received her masters degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Amy Gallant Ryzi recently celebrated the birth of her second son, Alex Emil, who entered the world on July 20. He joins big brother Richard, who turned 2 on June 2. Amy and her family live in Prague, where husband Zbynek finished his Ph.D. and is working for a holography company. Amy does some freelance translating and editing in her spare time.

Kate McNay Koch says she'll be there—and will in fact add another child on (her daughter is a living doll) for the occasion—and I'm in, if only for more canoeing!"
