Paul Gigot is in the news again. Someone sent me an article from the county newspaper in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The headline reads "Gigot denied TV exposure." Wisconsin Public Television has put Paul Gigot, another one in the line of native sons who made good, on hold—or ice. Gigot, editorial page editor of TheWall Street Journal, headlines "The Journal Editorial Report," a Public Broadcasting System television offering seen in 100-plus markets across the nation.
Received an e-mail from Carol Muller. She is active with the online nonprofit Mentor Net, which she founded in 1997. This occupies considerably more of her time and energy than her "standard" appointment!
Adrina Banks is still in New York City, working for Morgan Stanley. Caldwell Gaffney spoke with William "Chat" Carter. He's out in Denver. William is supposed to drop me a line or two and it would be good to hear from him; I have not seen William since our fifth reunion.
On February 18 of this year the principals of ADD Inc. announced a new milestone in the 34-year history of the architecture, interior and graphic design firm as Frederick A. Kramer, AIA, formally assumed the role of president of the firm in January, concluding a year-long leadership transition. A passionate believer in the power of teamwork and collaboration, Fred brings a heightened focus on design vigor and quality. Since joining ADD Inc. in 1981, Fred has led the design of a diverse range of corporate, residential and retail projects across the country. After Dartmouth Fred received a masters degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Boston Society of Architects, the American Institute of Architects, the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Urban Land Institute. He is also a member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Boston City/Build Committee.
