Now that the holiday season is behind us, including that new "holiday" known as the Super Bowl, we are all looking forward to an early spring. The cold weather and snow came early in the Northeast, but it remains to be seen what the balance of the winter will bring. If you haven't received your reunion packet by now, mark your calendars for June 12 to June 15 for our 35th class reunion. Thirty-five years out of college does not seem like it should apply to us because our generation has taken pride in staying young by keeping physically fit and socially relevant, but, to put it in perspective, the class of 1936 had its 35th class reunion during our senior year.

Congratulations to Michael Fay, who was in-cluded in Worth magazines list of "Top One Hundred Attorneys." Mike is a partner at Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr, LLP, where he is the longest-serving member of the private client department, with 30 years of experience in representing high-net-worth clients and their families. In determining his selection, Worth's editors looked at attorneys who combined exceptional legal expertise with outstanding interpersonal skills and great tact. That selection criterion seems to describe Mike extremely well!

Wayne Hobin e-mailed that in August he participated in the U.S. Rowing Association Master's Regatta in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he won two gold and a silver in the Mens G (for gasping, average age 60) 8, Men's F (55-year-old) 8, and Men's F 4+, respectively. He remembers when he was young and went to these regattas to see the "old farts" out killing themselves and thought he would never get that old. Now he is one of them, but he still manages to get out four to five times per week to row. He also reports that he recently visited Peru, where he spent a fair amount of time in the Cusco region with a great trip to Machu Pichu. Also, Wayne is in need of our support as reunion giving chairman in helping the class to raise our goal of $1,400,071. You can contact Wayne at wayne@horizonpointe. net. In addition, he recommends that you visit www.straydog.com/dart/index.html. which will connect you to the class of 1971 homepage, which has a wealth of information regarding classmates and other data relevant to our class. You will also be able to submit information for Class Notes and newsletters.
