With great anticipation, we all should look forward to the "Chance of a Lifetime" 25th reunion that convenes June 14-17. I had fun with the reunion book questionnaire as I struggled with some (what was your most thought-provoking moment at Dartmouth?) and smiled reminiscently at others (what did you do when you had an hour of free time on campus?). A heartfelt thanks to Gray Reisfield Horan, Leslie Fleming and Mary Thomson Renner for overseeing the production of this tome ofwisdom. Despite getting a drill caught in his hair as an undergrad, Steve Schuh was elected to the Maryland state legislature. He was the top vote-getter in a field of six, remarkable given his status as a "lowly Republican in a majority Democrat" district. Gail Koziara Boudreaux, the Ivy League women's basketball player of the year three times from 1980-82, was an NCAA Silver Anniversary Award recipient. Six former NCAA student-athletes were recipients of the 2007 Silver Anniversary Award. The award recognizes former student-athletes who completed successful collegiate careers in various sports 25 years ago and went on to excel in their chosen professions. The awards were presented during the annual NCAA, convention in Orlando, Florida. Wes Sheridan writes that things are great in the true north—Prince Edward Island, Canada. Son Jonathan (22) is writing his senior honors thesis in biology at Mt. Allison University in New Brunswick. He is joined there this year by Kelly (18),who is in the firstyear of her commerce degree program. Megan (20) is finishing her massage therapy degree in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His wife, Sandra teaches resource/special education at the high school level and Wes manages a credit union in Kensington, a small town in central PEI, 10 kilometers from their home and the Atlantic Ocean. Wes is considering a run at provincial politics this year. Nicholas A. Holekamp is a pediatrician and seven years ago was hired to be the medical director of a sleepy, almost defunct pediatric rehab center. Actually licensed by the state of Missouri as a nursing home, the mission from its creation as a nonprofit agency in 1940 was to care for kids recovering from serious illnesses (polio and TB at the time). Nicholas helped oversee the transition of this facility into a bustling state-of-the-art pediatric specialty hospital (of which there is only a handful nationwide) capable of caring for the most challenging patients as they transition from hospital to home. His group built a remarkable new facility designed expressly for the purpose of caring for children and their families as they recover from medical catastrophes. They care for the whole gamut of pediatric ages and diagnoses, from newborns recovering from complications of prematurity or birth defects to teenagers with serious head injuries and everything in between. Mark Nesline was named seniorvice president of engineering at Sentillion. Mark came to Sentillion from RSA Security, where he served as area vice president of engi-

neering, responsible for the product development of RSA Security's Secur ID product line. Prior to RSA he held engineering management positions at Raytheon and Lockheed. Kevin Peterson was chosen for the 2007 Class of Leadership New Hampshire. Kevin is the executive director of the Upper Valley region of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and a certified EMT. Unless Brook or Corinne can arm wrestle me for it, the next column that I write will be the followup to our 25th. Thanks in advance to Eric Miller, Jim Vahey and Brook Tolley Confort for chairing the event. In the meantime, visit www.dartmouth82.org/25th for updates. I can't wait.
