Our classmate, Craven Laycock—Dean Emeritus of the College, died at the Mary Hitchcock Hospital on April 4. He had apparently been in his usual health up to a day or so before his passing on and was at the hospital only a few hours before he died.

Your Secretary knows what a sense of loss will fill the heart of every member of the class. Craven occupied a place in our class which cannot be filled by any other member.

The funeral was held in Rollins Chapel on April 8.

The class was represented by Guy Richards, Dan Lakeman, Hardy Richardson, and Hiram Johnson. Richards and Lakeman served on the list of Honorary Pallbearers.

Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Lakeman, and Thomas Johnson were also present.
