Our friend and classmate Jim Reilly has finished the course, and all who knew him will agree that he ran a good race. After years of poor health, Jim passed away at his home in Lowell, Mass. A native of Lowell, he entered college from that city and lived there throughout his life. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Jim was associated with a Lowell law firm for several years and served as assistant district attorney for Middlesex County. Later he became a member of a prominent Boston law firm, in which capacity he served with distinction until physical disabilities forced his retirement. Jim was not only an able lawyer, but a leading citizen as well. A past president of the Lowell Board of Trade, he was a member of the Lowell Literary Club, the Holy Name Society of his church, the Knights of Columbus, and a trustee of the Tewksbury State Hospital. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, a sister, and two brothers.
