The funeral of Mrs. Caroline Mooers Ames Was held in Northwood, N. H„ Wednesday afternoon, April 16. She was the widow of Rev. A. Herbert Armes, who first taught at Coe Academy, now Brown-Coe Academy of Northwood, and later was minister of the Congregational church at Northwood Center. During her later years she was a summer resident of Northwood having made her home in Brookline, Mass., with her son Lyman Armes, her sole survivor.

The secretary and Mrs. Austin have returned to their home in Webster, N. H. (P. O. Warner), again making the trip by auto.
