Con Chellis writes from Florida that he is a great-grandfather. It does not seem possible that a man out of college only fifty years could be so old. How many more great-grandfathers are there in the class?
The class will be interested to learn that Alma Milham is publishing a book which Charlie wrote when they were living in Williamsburg. The title is "Gallant Pelham, American Extraordinary." It is a biography of John Pelham of Alabama, the brilliant young commander of Jeb Stuart's Horse Artillery, who was killed in action in March, 1863 at the age of twenty-four. The publisher is Public Affairs Press, Washington, D. C., and the publication date was January 5, 1959.
Warner White is back on the mainland after having spent many years as an outlander on the island of Nantucket. He is working for North Allison and Ettinger, 52 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, N. Y.
"Henniker in a Nutshell," a talk by Francis Childs at the Community Day Convention in Henniker last fall has been printed by New England College in booklet form and can be purchased at the New Hampshire League of Arts, Concord, N. H. Proceeds will be used to purchase new books for the college library.
