Well, here we are once again. This time we send our sincerest Christmas greetings and best wishes for the New Year to all members of the class of '51 wherever they may be. Tip your glasses and hold them on high - to all of you from all of us, a very Merry Xmas!

We've received notice that two of our classmen have graduated recently from the military medical orientation course at the Army Medical Service school, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Capt. Donald Dworken got his medical degree from Boston University in 1955, and Capt. Ed Landau from Harvard Med school m 1954. The class at Fort Sam Houston was composed of newly commissioned officers and stressed medical service in combat.

Tom Clark is teaching at the Central Junior High School in Milton, Mass. Tom did graduate work at Boston University and has completed work for his M.A. degree from Columbia University. Since graduation, Tom has been an instructor at the Ingold High School in North Carolina and during the past three years has been a member of the staff of the Hoosac and Mcßurney Schools in New York City.

A. note in from Lynn, Mass., tells us that Blair & Co. has asked Mike Harris to join their sales organization and will represent them in the Boston area. For four years after graduation, Mike was with the Air Force and then was associated with Blair & Co.'s New York office. Prof. George Biggs and his wife have landed in Grantham, Pa. (we presume) where George will be on the faculty of Messiah College. He'll teach organ and theory. After Dartmouth, George was graduated from the Eastman School of Music and, following military service, took graduate work at Wheaton College.

Word has it that Bill Goulburn, M.D. has opened his'office for the general practice of medicine in association with another Doctor in Audubon. N. J. Bill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1954. He interned at Hartford Hospital and for one year was a surgical intern at Hartford Hospital.

Appointed to the faculty as English teacher of Loomis School in Hartford, Conn., is Spencer Grey, a native of Boston. Spence took his advance work at Columbia and has taught at St. Paul's School and Tabor Academy.

On to the more important things, the ENGAGEMENTS!

In NYC we hear tales that Jerry Bogdan and Miss Paula Sisk have announced their intentions to wed. The prospective bride received her B.A. degree from Hunter College, and then did post graduate work in History at Columbia. Jerry is associated with his father in business, and got his Master's from Stanford University Business School. Before we get to the weddings, we can't forget John Hatch and Mary Howell, whose engagement was announced back in August. Mary hails from Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and was graduated from Bradford Junior College. John is with Field & Coles, a Boston insurance firm. The last of these important few are Bill Fraser and his bride-to-be, Miss Nancy Jane Codling. Nancy is an alumna of Cornell University, and Bill, a Navy veteran, is with the Albany branch of the Connecticut General Life Insurance Company.

In Verona, N. J., Doris Krauss and JerryUnderwood became Mr. and Mrs. Jerry is associated with the Atlantic Lumber Co. of Boston, so we assume the newly-weds are at home there. Setting up housekeeping in Goffstown, N. H., are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Brury, who were married not so long ago in Lewiston, Me. Verna graduated from Colby College, Waterville, Me., and has been saving money to support her groom by teaching Math in the Edward Little High School, Auburn, Me. Andy, for his minor part, has been teaching English and social studies at Kimball Union. He got his B.A. from Emerson College, after having attended Dartmouth, and earned his Masters in graduate work at Boston U.

We're going to cut this scribble off promptly, so that the list of contributors to the whopping Alumni Fund will fit in here. GaryMansur and his tribe of assistant agents have done a fine job. But more than that, you who have given have made the success a great one, and assured the continuance of an outstanding institution.

Before we close, just a short note about reunion. Herb Knight has been chosen by your officers as reunion chairman, and is now preparing for a stupendous affair. We'll have more pertinent information later, but we sincerely hope everyone will save June 14-16 for our first big reunion since graduation.

Christmas and New Year's greetings again to each and everyone of you, wherever you may be. The Christmas spirit is something akin to the Dartmouth spirit, and they are both great ones. See you in 1957.
