From the Christmas cards, we learn that Harlan Brumstead sent some good news of the doings in Ithaca. Harlan and Sookie have a home three doors away from Mary andWalt Snickenberger in Cornell town. It is indeed, to use the old chestnut, "a small world." Judging from the respective productions of each of these prolific '46s, this street has some gang to live with. The Brumsteads have three boys and the Snicks have two boys. Harlan was awarded his Ph.D. and is associated with the Dept. of Science in the College of Agriculture, at Cornell University. The former "Bard of Batavia" (N. Y.) tells me that Dune Gibson is now with Alcoa in N.Y.C. President Dickey lectured at Cornell recently, Harlan and Sookie met him, and reported the birth of their third son. President Dickey replied, "Now you can share one with Cornell." Let's share the one son that wants to major in Skidmore girls with Cornell, the Green will take those big ones for duty on Memorial Field.

Dr. Nick Vorys and "Popgun" now have two fine kids, Ann and George; see you in. Hanover this June, Vorys. "Fred Mac Murray"Jack Howard and Ruthie will be aboard as per their Christmas card. The Howard clan now consists of Sue (ellen), Robbie, Joann and Jonathan. The Scheus report a new home in Mobile, Ala., and a new "Scheu," Nicky (3 months). Then add in Jenny, Teddy and you get the full house. Bud is with Scott Paper.

Dr. Steve Hoye is doing a surgical residency at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. The Hoyes have two boys, Steve and Chris, and they plan to be up for Reunion. I always knew the old red-head Charlie Perry had his eye on a dream job. X see now that his sales position with Catalina Swim Suits offers excellent eye exercise in viewing each year's new creations beside Hollywood swimming pools. Charlie is married to the former Laura Workman and they have a future Catalina customer, Linda, 5 years old. Charlie sees Al Holmes occasionally but gives no further news of the best backcourt set-shot man the '46 frosh ever had. Charlie Crockett wishes they never wrote that ballad about his great-great-uncle. His two girls Carol and Lorie wake him each morning with the appropriate tune. In between verses he is a structural design engineer with U.S.B.R. (I don't know what this is either.) Don Mason is enjoying Florida on a permanent basis as a salesman for the Ruberoid Co. He says it's a great spot and he is in on the boom. Ruberoid Roofs are on every motel. The Masons have two boys, Steve and Jim. Bill Hessey is distribution manager for Aviation Week, bible of the air industry, a McGraw-Hill pub. Bill and Jean have a boy and two girls, also a new house and a mortgage. See you at the 10th, Bill. Ed Johnson is assistant manager of the Planning Department for Kendall Mills, he and Betty have a Tom and Betty for kids, age 4 and 2½. The "head healers" have a very excellent specialist in Dr. Bert Ibelle who is a psychologist at Hartford Hospital. He and his wife, the former Mary Jane Pierce, have two boys, Robert Pierce and William Howard.

In New York the Port Authority promoted Bill O'Keefe to staff assistant in the Tunnel and Bridges Dept. Don't envy him when a log jam like last night's hits the Queens Midtown Tunnel. Did you spy the article on the great life Stan Waterman is living with his portable skin diving school in the Bahamas? Stan's picture looked like he had gone native. Bob Nelson is now assistant sales and service manager of McKiernan-Terry Corp. in Dover, N. J. He received his Master of Science degree at Thayer School. Congratulations, Bob, on the promotion.

Among "Aisle Treaders" and those about to, who should appear but the old roommate, Dr. Charles Cunningham. Charlie and Marjon Diener announced their engagement in November. Congratulations Charlie, great news. Marjon is a nurse at Mary Hitchcock and comes from out in Yakima, Wash. Charlie is doing a residency in pathology. They will be married this spring and live in Hanover. Also in November, Harry Colmery and Sallie Morphy were married. Sallie is from Pasadena, Calif., and is a Smith College girl. Harry now holds rank of major in USMCR Air Corps and is in business in New York. Harry got the second call to the Corps in Korea and distinguished himself in action. This is good news about you and Sallie, Harry; best of everything to you.

Got any pictures of yourselves or any of the boys? Sure would like to publish them. I have in mind doing some re-runs of your Green Book convict poses. Enjoy your winter vacations, you miserable capitalists.
