At its recent meeting in October 1958, the Class Executive Committee strongly felt that a current class directory would be appreciated after the buffeting winds of the first five years had been quelled. The strong administrative team of Tom Bloomer, Ted Spiegel, and Bob Henderson are responsible for bringing us this completed list. Our thanks go to them for a fine job. It is sincerely hoped that this list will be one more tool to continue the excellent class esprit in the months just ahead.

Santa Claus made his special rounds, with his friend the Stork, to three '53 homes just prior to Christmas. Prancer escorted Debra Beth on November 25 into a crib in the Jack Levine household, and Vixen bounded with joy over the Clery threshold to present Howard Kingsbury Clery III on December 5, only to be followed by Cupid racing past the missile guards to announce the arrival of Kathleen on December 6 to Paul and Joan McConnell in Los Alamos, N. M. "But wait a minute," Santa says, "I also wish to announce that last June I journeyed on water skis to Al and Patty Ives' to deliver Paul Brenner on June 17." Two grand boys for the Ives' now, both in training for the Big Green, says Patty.

From Springfield, Mass., comes the announcement that Bill Craven has joined the staff of Paine, Webber, Curtis. Bill previously had been with the New York Telephone Co. and more recently administrative assistant to the sales manager of the Holyoke Division of the Worthington Corp. Bill and Barbara make their home in Easthampton, Mass. Just recently John Peterson was appointed a field engineer for the Norton Co. in their Philadelphia district office. John joined this outstanding abrasive grinding firm in 1954 after receiving his degree from Tuck. Wally Ashnault was recently admitted to the New York Bar Association which makes wife Sally and all of us very proud. Congratulations and best wishes to you gentlemen.

Let the wind blow, let it rain and snow and engagement and wedding news will follow. First flurry-Dorine Joyce Ackerman's engagement to Harvey Medlinsky in New York. Dorine is a graduate of New York University and Yale School of Drama. She is currently a costume designer for several TV shows. A February wedding is planned. And in November Jim Porath broke the ice and took Jean Priscilla Murphy as his bride in Lynn, Mass. A reception was later held at the Boston Yacht Club in Marblehead. A colorful usher corps included the names of one Paul Paganucci and Wally Ashnault. Jean is a graduate of Simmons College and Jim is now a partner in the accounting firm of Thomas B. Donnelly & Co. The home fires will burn in Marblehead.
