We will report next month on President Al Bildner's plans for a Class Executive Committee meeting in New York City at the Dartmouth Club on May 20, 6 P.M. His earlier plans for a meeting of the same group in Hanover, N. H., on May 2 at the Class Officers weekend failed when only he and Newsletter Editor Hugh Chapin were able to attend. A quorum of seven is required to conduct official business.
Ev and Mary Nordstrom are the proud parents of twins David and Ellen, born October 25, 1958. The Nordstroms have three other children, Russen 10, Christina 8, and Phyllis 6. Ev is now Technical Placement Coordinator with Bendix Aviation in Teterboro, N. J. He was previously Dean of Nichols Junior College.
Dan Carroll has been promoted to the Director of Personnel Administration for the management consulting firm of Booz, Allen & Hamilton whose headquarters are in Chicago. Dan has been with the consulting firm since 1954. Harry Lanzillo is President and Treasurer of Ivy Associates, Inc., a fast growing company specializing in the construction of residential swimming pools. Formerly, he was a merchandising executive with R. H. White Corp. Of Boston. For the past eight years, he has been general manager of the local Wakefield, Mass., Happy Valley Dairy a family-owned business. He is continuing in' this position and handling the Ivy operations as an additional venture.
Class Agent Bob Snedaker has been promoted to general personnel supervisor Lone Island, N. Y., Telephone Co. Bob has been with this company since 1949, formerly a planning engineer for the Suffolk Division.
Dr. Bob Prochaska has been named advance development specialist in General Electric's chemical materials department polycarbonate engineering section, Pittsfield, Mass Bob returns to Pittsfield after an absence of about two years, having transferred to the company's Schenectady operations for one of its chemical projects early in 1957. Bob received his Doctor's degree from Rutgers University in 1951 in chemistry. He joined G.E. at Pittsfield the same year as a development chemist. Subsequent assignments have included technical service, sales, and advance development projects.
Bill Callagy became a candidate in March for the position of Lawrence, Mass., high school football coach. Bill has had teaching and coaching experience at Chelmsford, Mass, six years at Wakefield, one year at St. John's preparatory school, and one year at Peabody High School as assistant football coach.
