Just after going to press last month, the following letter came in from Dick Marsh, who used to operate in this space:

Casting for Playhouse-on-the-Green's sixth season included Alan Sklar, who appeared in the Broadway production, "The Ponder Heart." Here at Columbus, Ohio, he shared one of the leads in "The Girls in 509." Al received his theatrical training from Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg and Martha Graham. He has performed with the American Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Conn.

Miss Diane Hatz and Stew Michaels were married this past May. After a wedding trip to Puerto Rico, the couple now live in New York City. During the same month BobFrench and Jennifer Brennan became engaged. The prospective bridegroom is a mountain guide and writer.

This ends my term of office as your Secretary. There have been a multitude of hilarious and warm experiences these past four years. If you are as kind and considerate to Stew Sanders, your new Secretary, he'll have no trouble filling space every month.

Russ Brace, Leo and Ginger McKenna, Tom Burris, Ted and Nancy Bremble, Bob Mackay, and I gathered in the Hanover Inn after Dartmouth's 15-0 victory over Penn. It was the finest game I had seen since Bill Beagle and Leo were calling the plays. Al Rozycki, who is one of the top men in his class academically, was "out-Crouthameling Crouthamel," as Leo put it; the line was fast and tough, and a whole new team of sophomores was showing its potential. Also, of real interest was the fascinating story Bob Mackay had for us. He is employed with American Machine & Foundry Co. in Geneva, Switzerland, and was on his way to return there in a few days. He reported it as one of the most exciting cities of the world and only 45 minutes from the ski slopes. Burris said something about meeting with legal officers Sunday morning in order to get back to work at G.E. (You think you've got troubles!)

Leaving for Brown early Saturday morning and will hope to see some of you there; if not there, let's get together in Hanover for Houseparties, November 4, 5, 6, or at the Princeton game.

Secretary, 21 Lyme Rd., Hanover, N. H.

Treasurer, 242 Nassau Blvd. Garden City South, L. I., N. Y.
