Letters from some "long losts" provide us with most of the news this month. BobMessner sent in a letter telling of his life since leaving Hanover, and how he ended up in his present location — Korea. Following graduation Bob spent three years at Pennsylvania Law School. After passing his bar exams in the summer of 1963 he began a two-year hitch in the Army. He is now commanding officer of the 584th Technical Intelligence Detachment in Korea. Duties include gathering data on roads, beaches, ports, airfields, railways, etc. in both North and South Korea. Such cloak and dagger goings on! Come discharge time this September, Bob will practice law in Pittsburgh.

A letter from Dave Farnsworth tells of events and happenings in the life of some of his friends. Like: Walt and Doris Sosnowski, who had a baby boy last October 9 - Walter Francis the 3rd. Gary Vanderweghe was married way last June 26 to Barbara Moore in San Jose, Calif. Joe Mandel has been on a one-year Federal Court appointment for a U. S. Circuit Court Judge in Los Angeles. Dan Gordon and wife have two children. Dan attends Geo. Washington Law School. Dave Chevrier is a pastor in Saxtons River, Vt., and chaplain for Vermont Academy. As for "Scoops" himself, he was married to Mary Chatfield in Rochester, N. Y., on August 1. He is presently a high school social studies teacher in suburban Syracuse - and I imagine, basketball coach.

Seems that some of us like the sisters of some others of us. What? Well, what I mean is that recently two of our number have married the sisters of two others of our number. Specifically, Dave Haight married Annette Fate (sister of Nick) and ChuckDarrow married Sally Lower (sister of Marty). I have first hand reports of both events and they both seemed to be good gatherings. The Haight-Fate event took place on December 12 down in Tulsa. Nick was best man with Bob Pike and SpenceMorgan providing moral support. The Darrow-Lower gala was December 26, in Syracuse. Many '6o's were in attendance. Chuck is now attending Columbia Business School.

Other weddings heretofore unreported: Richard Levy to Susan Jane Lewis on December 5, in Cincinnati. Dick has a Ph.D. in nuclear chemistry (U of California) and is now with Monsanto in St. Louis. Joe Okimoto and Elaine Bodwell were married on September 16, in Okayama, Japan. Joe was an intern at King County hospital in Seattle. He is presently a captain in the Air Force and stationed in Lincoln, Neb.

Andy Nighswander received a nice honor a few months back. He was appointed administrative assistant for Congressman-elect J. Oliva Huot (Ist District of New Hampshire). Andy went to Columbia Law School and had been practicing in Laconia. He and wife Pat have one son, Peter, 1½.

Bill Colton writes that he was married to Teresa Tranberg on August 1. Bill is now in his last year at Brooklyn Law School. Jon Brown has recently been awarded a doctor of philosophy degree in art and archeology by Princeton. He got his master's from Princeton in 1963.

And now with those two final notes I'll close another chapter of "I wonder what that guy I used to sit next to in GI is doing?"

Letters please!
