Greetings for another year! I hope this season finds you all healthy, employed and a great big success.

First of all, a big thanks to Alex McGinnis for his fine job of reporting last year. MaGoo is still at Northwestern Medical School, but rumor has it he plans to take off for South America some time in the not too distant future.'

I have not received one letter from one '60 in the last five or six months. Now is about the time that a lot of you will be getting settled on a somewhat permanent basis. Service duty is over for some, others are getting out of grad school. We'd sure like to know what's happened to you in the last three years, so take five some evening and drop me a note.

The Reverend Dave Schofield was ordained to the Diaconate in the Episcopal Church in June by the Rt. Rev. James A. Pike, Bishop of California. A recent graduate of the General Theological Seminary in New York City, Dave was cited at the seminary for his outstanding work in the field of eucharistic the ology. Dave's first assignment will be as assistant to the rector of the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in San Francisco.

Most of the news this issue concerns those brainey ones among us who went on to grad school - and made it through. May as well start with Harvard. No less than nineteen of our finest graduated with advanced degrees from there last June. I'll just sort of list them here - hoping I don't miss any. First, the Doctors: Jerry Bart, Bill Mattson, Sol Rockenmacher, Art Stagg, Joe Okimoto and Frank Virnelli. Don't know the whereabouts of any of the above except for Frank who is interning at General Hospital in Minneapolis. Barristers graduating from the Crimson are as follows: Al Danson, John Franklin, Norris Knosher, Art Cockburn (who was married to Brenda Porter in July), Mike McGinnis, Bill Modahl, Jim Nichols, Tony Roisman, Lenny Schmolka, Steve Singer, Bill Wachter, and Roger Zissu (who is now working in the U.S. Courthouse in Brooklyn). Tom Fishbein received his M.B.A. from Harvard also.

From the University of Virginia the legal world received Mike Menaker, Murray Janus, John Hansen, Arnie Sigler, and Lyn Carlin. Bill Veech and Ned Nabers both received advanced degrees from Princeton in August. Bill got his Ph.D. in Math and Ned got a Master's in Classical Archaeology. Ed Sedivy got a law degree from the University of Montana. From about a third hand source I hear that Bob Hackett has set up law practice somewhere in Arizona. "Flash" finished Michigan Law School in June and evidently decided that there was more action out West than in his native Chappaqua, N. Y. - he is probably right. Also, I recollect that Bill Lum and Dune Gray were due to get their law degrees from Michigan in June. I'm sure I missed a goodly number of our advanced degree holders. Sorry, I'll try and get some more in next month.

Rusty and Pat Ingersoll, with four-month-old Debbie, were in town for several weeks this summer. Russ will be starting his second year at Virginia Theological Seminary in October. He claims he's really a serious fulltime student but he will also be a part time counselor at a boys' prep school in his spare time.

As a few of you may remember, I was to have spent last year teaching in Jordan. Well, we only made it through December. After four most interesting and exciting months in a small village north of Jerusalem, yours truly came down with a lovely case of hepatitis. When I had lost about 25 pounds and turned a bright yellow, they decided to send me and my family home. I took the cure for several months and am now my usual overweight self. Mari, Ann (15 months), and I are now living just outside of Minneapolis, while I spend my days working at an ad agency. Pardon the personal aside.

Ran into Jim D. Graham in Chicago over the summer. Moose of course was "great" and very interested in his African studies at Northwestern. Can't remember if the Grahams have one or two kids, but they'll all go to Africa for a year after Jim finishes his schooling.

Word comes through that Dud Weider was married last June. His new bride is the former Joan Downing of Akron, Ohio. Dud is in med school at Tufts. Sandy Berens married Arlene Neufeld on June 6. Sandy is a fourth year med student in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Well, I think that exhausts the sources for this month. Would really appreciate a word from some of you telling of your business ventures, number of children, people you've run into and present location.
