While suffering through one of the coldest winters on record, Chicago area alumni proved their hale and hearty Hanover heritage when they turned out en masse on February 8 at the Skokie Country Club to view the films of our championship football team in action. Good fellowship and great football made this a memorable evening for all those in attendance.

The Chicago area association is proud to count among its faithful Nathaniel Leverone '06, whose recent gift to the College made available to students for years to come facilities unsurpassed in function and design.

On February 13 local Tuck School alums gathered at the Chicago Yacht Club to enjoy a "business lunch" and hear Dean Karl Hill discuss problems and progress associated with running a graduate business school.

Once again we urge you all to join us at our weekly luncheons. Turnouts have been running well despite the bad weather, but Frances still holds an extra table in reserve in case you laggards get the urge.

At one of our weekly gatherings we were honored to have in attendance three members of the class of 1912. Jack Tackaberry and Al Holway, the only members of last year's 50-year class residing in the Chicago area, brought Dr. Stan Weld of Hartford along for a taste of our Windy City fellowship. We hope to see Jack and Al often from here on. Among the old stalwarts who have recently found time to join us for lunch are Hunter Hicks '33, Bob Critchell '33, Al Louer '26, Gair Tourtellot '25, Jim Zeisel '53, Hugh Brower '50, Bill Goodrich '58, Shelly Kjellenberg '57, Bob McClure '60, and Phil Hackbarth '56.

By now we hope you have all marked your calendars for President Dickey's annual visit to the Windy City, March 27. The program will begin in the afternoon with seminar sessions for recruiters and alumni fund workers, and will be followed with cocktails and dinner. Be sure to get your reservations in. Any of you who may have been missed in

the mailing can get details from Skip Grinton '54 or Bob Willey '56. Our president, Jim Stevens '50, reports that he spent a most enjoyable session in Hanover last month. While he recommends such a trip to all club presidents we note that he returned to Chicago prior to the onslaught of schlump.
