The Fall Football weekend was a good one. The first Yale game in Hanover since 1884 was won by '45 son Ted Perry, whose 40-yard field goal with 53 seconds to play provided Dartmouth with a 17-15 win. It was the third straight game that FredPerry's son provided the winning margin for the Big Green.
The Executive Committee had a fruitful meeting in Hanover at which President Kemeny spoke for an hour on such assorted topics as football, cost of graduate education, ROTC, the year-round schedule, education of the minority groups, and coeducation.
Socially the assembled group enjoyed an evening at the DOC pre-game buffet at the Jordans (again our many thanks, Betty) House, Saturday dinner at the Seven Gables and the fellowship at the motel. On hand for the weekend were Barb and Ted White, Pat and Ted Smith, Dora and Frank Aldrich, Shirley and Joe Michael, Helen and Eliot Mover, Griff Strasenburgh, Doris and Ed Pirie, Mary and Stan Newton, Howie Germain, Jane and Moe Frye, Betty and Cliff Jordan, Mary Lee and John Osborn, Rosalie and Don Cutter, Elaine and Jim Andrew, Allon and Shorty Pierce, Vesta and Vic Smith, Marge and Bob Paulson, Molly and John White, Elizabeth and Dave Hewitt, Pat and Al Ungar, Edie and Geof Maclay, Emmy Lou and Gordie Sleeper, Joan and Moose Rowan, Jeanne and Frank Hutchins, Ginny and Harry Hampton, Ruth and John Leggat, Laura and Paul Caravatt, Fred Berthold, Ginny and Jim Edson, Ginny and Bob Haffen-reffer, Frank Edmands, Jane and Bookie-Joe Ashton, Jane and Tom Yates, Doug Donahue, Paul Glover, Jean and Ted Safford, Dick and Barbara Hinman, Ash Van Duzer, Shirley and Mo Monahan, Sylvia and John Reed, Rickie and Don Cole.

To repeat from the October Wah-Hoo-Wah column, Joe Young has been named by President Nixon as judge of the U. S. District Court for Maryland.
Another prestigious government appointment went to Bob Beatty, who is serving as assistant secretary for public affairs, Department of Health, Education and Welfare. Bob had been director of communications for Boise Cascade Corp, Boise, Idaho since 1965. Bob's avocation has to do with the outdoors, writing about same, and serving on committees having to do with protecting same. He and Louise have three children.
From Walt Zebrowski and his new Greenville, S. C. location: "Bigelow Sanford closed its plant in Enfield, Conn., June '71. I was transferred at that time to Greenville, S. C. to Bigelow's service center as manager. My wife Frances and I relocated here the last week of September. Son Mark, Dartmouth '66, remains in Cambridge doing his PhD work at Harvard."
Another mover, Cliff Cosgrove, brings us up to date: "Just moved to Chicago to take on interesting challenge and getting a new magazine off the ground. Am general manager of Pro Quarterback, a monthly football book which would like to have about 1% of Sports Illustrated's business. After 15 years of the dubious security of giant Hearst Corp. (Good Housekeeping and Motor) I decided to try out the small pond with Hunter Publishing."
Best wishes for the holidays to one and all!!
