With spring already a reality as this issue reaches you folks, with resultant thoughts in some quarters of lawn cleanup, jobs and house painting projects, we'll begin this column by reporting that Harry A. Harry A. III recently was elected president of Kyamze Paints, Inc., Everett, Mass., a company of which he also is the treasurer. In addition to his duties with this 67-year-old firm, Harry is the incoming president of the New England Paint, Varnish and Lacquer Association Harry, Gloria and their four children reside at 10 Patriots Drive, Lexington, Mass. We're also very pleased to announce that Harry is the new Eastern Massachusetts Alumni Fund Regional Agent for the Class, working under Sandy McCulloch.

Sandy has the ball really rolling for this year's Alumni Fund drive. Many thanks go to the assistant class agents and regional agents who also are hard at work; early and realistic responses will be most appreciated by the College and by all the class members participating in the increasingly important Alumni Fund endeavor.

While we're on the subject of things to do, Joe Medlicott is eagerly awaiting the return of the questionnaires which he sent out several weeks ago. Production of future "50-50's" will be greatly enhanced by your completing and returning this document to Joe, whose address is the Department of English, University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn. 06268.

From the west coast comes word that Bob O'Neil now is Commanding Officer of the Navy's Fighter Squadron 121. The official address is Cdr. T. Robert O'Neil, USN 320737, Fitron One-Two-One, NAS, Miramar, Calif. 92145.

Also from California comes the good word that Ted Bamberger and his family all are enjoying their new environment, and that the sweater business is good. His knitwear mill representation activities involve quite a bit of traveling, but his office address is 112 W. 9th St., Los Angeles and the family abode is 10789 Ohio Ave., also in L.A.

Philadelphia banker and class executive committeeman Roger S. Hillas has been elected a director of the Goodall Rubber Company. Rog is executive vice president, commercial division of the Provident National Bank of Philadelphia, and resides in Gwynedd Valley, Pa.

Ben Johnson's recently announced move to 600 E. Seminary Ave., Baltimore, involves his association with Malco Plastics as Sales Manager. Malco prints and laminates plastic products, with heavy emphasis in the credit card field. So, gents, although I know you all pay cash on the barrelhead, give Ben credit for those cards which your wife totes around.

We're looking forward with great pleasure to having a new wife in the Dartmouth family. H. Stewart Young is the lucky fellow; his fiancee is Dorothy Jane Feise of Narberth, Pa., a graduate of Rollins College and the Katharine Gibbs School.

More news from the banking world. Walter L. Fisher is assistant treasurer of the Fairfield County Trust Company, and is its commercial representative in the Norwalk, Conn., office. Walt, Katherine, and their four daughters live at Oenoke Ridge & Parade Hill, New Canaan, Conn.

You travelers to northern Europe should note that Robert K. Lindell soon will be associated with the Banque de Commerce, Brussels, Belgium, an institution in which the Chase Manhattan Bank recently acquired a stock interest. Bob has been with the Chase in Paris, and is scheduled to move to Brussels in May or June.

Fred R. Gamble Jr. has been elected an assistant vice president of Bache & Co., according to a clipping sent in by Kent Calhoun '52. Fred is manager of the firm's Minneapolis office, and lives in nearby Wayzata.

Turning from finance to engineering, JoeSarno has completed his 14th year with the Lynn River Works of the General Electric Company, where he is a mechanical engineer. Joe also is treasurer and director of CAPRI (Community Action Programs of Revere, Inc.); he, Bernice and their three children live at 12 Furness Street, Revere, Mass.

A long-distance move is reported for Charlie Hart, from Springfield, Mass., to 111 Shasta Drive, Houston, Texas 77024. RalphMuehlig has a new address in New Jersey of Box 841, New Brunswick, N. J. 08903, and Dave Pendleton has made an apartment switch in the big city to Apt. SN, 250 East 39th Street, N. Y., N. Y. 10016; Dave is a lawyer with the Sinclair Refining Company. And if you've been out in Minnesota trying to locate Tom Warner on Route 3 in Excelsior, it's been to no avail; his address now is Route 6, Box 64 —by now he may have that box dug out from the snow drifts!
