Vince Canby is the new motion picture critic for the New York Times. Active in the field of journalism since 1948, Vince had previously done movie and theatre news for the Times with which he has been associated since 1965.
Enjoying a sabbatical leave from the West Hartford (Conn.) schools to study at the University of Hartford for a master's degree in administration and supervision, DaveKendall adds the following information: "Have a daughter at Bates (freshman) and two sons in high school and seventh grade. Will return to teaching science next year. In the meantime am enjoying a different kind of year. Wife, Ann, is an assistant regional planner for Capitol Region (Hartford) and working very hard. Still manage to get in some ski touring now and then."

Combining business and campus activities, Harry Bissell, president of Bradford, Inc., which operates Howard Johnson establishments in Newcastle County, Del., is serving as an instructor in apartment and hotelmotel management at Brandywine College.
Hardworking Harry Hampton has the following to say: "Our money grubbing treasurer reminds us that the final dues mailing for fiscal 1968-69 has been completed and that he'd like to receive checks from some 200-300 classmates. If just half of you latebloomers respond, a record for class duties payments will have been set. To date 314 dues payments have been received. New corporate advancement has come to the following. Charlie Becker, vice-president of the Harris Trust and Savings Bank, Chicago, has been named to head division one of'that institution's national group. WayneMorgan is the new president of Warren Petroleum Corp., a subsidiary of Gulf Oil.
Allan Browne spans 25 plus years and brings us up-to-date with: "After Dartmouth, to University of Washington. Then three years Army Air Corps as engineer test pilot. Then married to Patty and three children. After trading stock in own business with Ekco Products (now American Home Products) commenced with export company dealing strictly internationally with Europe - now president. Twice in Europe last year - played Estoril Golf Club. Family mainly involved with golf, skiing, bird hunting, and fly fishing. Have been involved earlier in the usual civic stuff - past president of Tacoma Country and Golf Club (started 1888). I fondly remember fourth floor Wheeler and use this media to extend warmest wishes toTed Jenks, Steve D'Arrigo, Charlie Holt, et al. Hope to make one of the reunions before I might need a truss or cane." Plan on the 25th, Allan, it will be a great one!!
Jim Wilson, associate professor of music at Douglass College (N. J.), has recently published a 101 song anthology, "Songs of Miramichi," the result of ten years of research in the folk songs of his native Miramichi valley, New Brunswick, Canada. Jim, who studied at the Juilliard School of Music and N.Y.U., joined the Douglass faculty in 1953.
