Art Nighswander and his wife have recently returned from a six-week tour to Austria, Eastern Germany, Poland, and Yugoslavia. Art says Poland is the only country in the world with 100 per cent Communists, 95 per cent of whom are "believers," which disproves a popularly held Western idea, he noted, that all Communists are atheists. He described the Polish as "indomitable" people, and estimates it will be 100 years before they throw off the Communist yoke. By contrast, in Yugoslavia, "where nothing is impossible, there was no feeling whatsoever we were being watched," Art said. He predicted this is one of the places "you will be hearing more about," and cited the burgeoning tourist trade, which went from $20 million last year to $80 million this year, and is expected to reach $200 million next year.
