This is the month for our Regional Reunions scheduled for the weekend of May 20. Plan to attend the one in your area, for they should be a good prelude to our swingin' Tenth! If you have not already received the details for the affair in your area, you should be hearing soon.

Tony Gittes has recently been named as president and general manager of the Ecuadorian Division of W. R. Grace & Company. He, his wife and three children are moving to Guayaquil, Equador from Lima, Peru, where they have been living for the last few years. Tony writes that Grace has many and varied investments in Equador including a paint plant, a paper factory, a corrugated box plant (which he writes is the largest in the world), and a shipping business.

Andy Peterson has recently been elected a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Andy is an instructor of accounting at Bentley College. He and his wife Marion and their three children are living in Sudbury, Mass.

Jaegwon Kim has received one of the first fellowships announced by the National Endowment for Humanities. He is one of the 130 younger scholars granted a summer fellowship which provides for support of summer study and research. Jaegwon is a member of the Department of Philosophy at Brown University.

Bob has been associated with Edward's since 1961 and has been manager of the Camillus Plaza store since 1965. After leaving Dartmouth, Bob did some graduate work in accounting and finance at Syracuse University. He and his wife Susan are now living in Camillus.

BUI Goodrich has been awarded the designation of CFA by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts. Bill is a trust officer with the First National Bank of Chicago. Doc Defoe has recently organized a winter extension to his summer camping project. Sugarloafers Ski Camp is now in operation during every substantial school vacation. The Ski Camp is for children whose parents can't get away for a length of time, Doc says. Buses are sent to New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Westchester County, and Fairfield County to pick up campers and return them after the vacation period is over. The main activity at Sugarloafers is skiing with time devoted both to instructional skiing and free-time skiing. This program sounds like an enterprising one for Doc and one which many of us as busy parents might be able to take advantage of in the future.

The Donald Brenners announced the birth of their son, Michael Barry recently. The Brenners are making their home in Englewood Cliffs, N. J.

The Robert Goodells also announced the birth of their son, Gordon Graham. The Goodells are living in San Rafael, Calif.

Two more Dartmouth sons are joining the ranks of the married. Walt Fogarty and Elizabeth Ann Glenn recently announced their engagement with plans for a June wedding. Walt went into the Marine Corps after getting his MBA from Tuck School. He is now a senior product manager for Colgate Palmolive in New York City. Joel Einhorn and Linda Beth Bercowetz were engaged recently with plans for a spring wedding. Joel went on to Harvard Law School after leaving Dartmouth and now is a lawyer in the office products division of IBM.

As you're well aware, the annual Alumni Fund Drive is now well under way. Take a minute and mail that check in today ... you know the best way to keep Herb and the boys off your back is to get that check in early!

That's about all the news for this month. Please write!
