Among the '58's forging ahead in the business world is our class president, Dick Stoddart, who was recently named vicepresident and secretary of Shaker Savings Association in Cleveland. Puffy had been practicing law with a large Cleveland law firm since 1964 and now will be using his legal skills in the real estate field for Shaker Savings. Another attorney, Ron Snow, is now a full-fledged partner in the law firm of Orr and Reno in Concord, N. H. Ron has been associated with the firm since 1961. Frank Blatz, a partner in the law firm of Blatz and Firing, has been named to the board of directors of the Plainfield Savings and Loan Association in Plainfield, N. J.

Rev. Bob Fosse sent the following blurb on the Fosse activities along with his class dues (are they all in now, men?): "... In March, 1967 we sailed for Europe and a five months' exchange with a clergyman in England. We lived in a 200-year-old vicarage and I had four small country parishes to tend to. ... Upon returning to Palos Park, Ill., it became apparent that two of our three boys had become so chronically ill with asthma that we had to move. After they both went into the hospital for a critical stay, we packed our bags and flew to Phoenix ... never to return to damp, dingy Chicago, were we had lived for over twenty years. Our boys have improved 95% ... for which we are very grateful. We moved here because of 'weather'... the joke's on us! As of today (Dec. 20) we have 83 inches of snow on the ground! I've been skiing once and can't wait for the big (12,000 feet) mountain to be cleared for the real challenge. We'll be skiing till May, so any alumnus can stop in at 526 Havasupai Road, Flagstaff, Ariz., for a stay, visit, ski week, or whatever." Hope Bob and his wife will be in Hanover in June to tell us all about that 12,000 foot mountain!

Speaking of June (time for another plug!) ... according to our latest Reunion blurb, over five hundred are coming back and the events for the weekend sound great! Far be it from us '58's to leave a keg un-tapped! You still have plenty of time to tell DickFrisch to add your name to the list of those attending.

Rev. Dave Roak is still hard at work in Stamford, Conn., as project co-ordinator of "Upward Bound," an anti-poverty program dealing with the education of promising teenagers. Editorializing a bit, this seems to be a very worthwhile and thus far successful venture into an area where the need has been all too apparent in preparing tomorrow's leaders.

Alan and Margot Greener have moved their family of three from the warmer climes of California to a new address in Ridgewood, N. J. (349 Van Emburgh Ave.) Alan has joined the Becton-Dickinson Division of the company of the same name as marketing product manager and as such will be occupied with fever thermometers, elastic bandages, and related products. He had previously been product manager for Pharmaseal Division of the American Hospital Supply Corporation in Glendale, and graduated from Tuck in 1959.

Wayne Hamilton is involved in work at Ohio State University which is equally important to tomorrow's world. As a research associate, Wayne is working on a study of ice samples which may result in a means of fingerprinting particles in the first sample of moon dust astronauts bring back. Wayne also hopes to identify meteoritic dust chemically in cooperation with a University of Brussels scientist who worked with Ohio State's 1965-66 Antarctic team.

Stu Gord is now assistant to the treasurer of Parke, Davis & Company in Detroit. Stu started with the firm in 1963 as a financial analyst after receiving his M.B.A. from Harvard.

Larry Hampton has recently been elected a vice-president of Benton & Bowles. Larry has been an account supervisor with the agency since leaving the Richardson-Merrell Agency, where he was director of central management research.

That's all the news for this month hope to see you all in June.
