We'll be dropping a whole atlas full of names on you. Don't blame us, we're only bringing you up to date on the adventures of Richard Kernochan. It starts simply enough with graduation from Dartmouth in December 1967 and a year in Paris and its student riots in 1968. The scene shifts to Los Angeles and a master's in English literature from U.C.L.A. Back to Paris as photographer, visual programmer and codirector in Open Light. Marriage in 1970 to Barbar Bailey at Levres, France. On to Tehran, Iran, as account executive at Lord Advertising, an M.B.A. from Iran Center for Management Studies, then a position with Citicorp Management Services, Inc., in Istanbul. Ah yes, daughter Julia Anne was born on September 21, 1976. Where? Athens, of course.

1976 was a "great year" for Bill Malcolm since it started with graduation from Tuck School, included a European jaunt with Mimi, was highlighted by a post as vice president, marketing, for Analytic Management Systems, a Hanover-based computer consulting and software firm, and finished with the arrival of a daughter, Elissa F., on November 7.

Jan and Janet Wastervelt live in Cabot, Vt., where Jan serves on the school board and from where he commutes to the accounting firm of Smith, Batchelder and Rugg. Four-year-old son Teddy plays with the family's pet rabbit — among other activities.

Steve Zegel is now executive director of the Nursery Foundation Day Care Center in St. Louis, and wife Maureen, with Eric 8 and Emily 6 back in school, has enrolled in a journalism program at Webster College where she is editor of the college newspaper. It's like making review in law school.

Steve Kemper, a professor at Bates College, has won the fifth Yonin Talmon prize for his paper, "Sinhalese Astrology: South Asian Caste Systems and the Notion of Individuality."

And a personnel bit of good news: Margaret Ann, all five pounds and seven ounces of her, arrived one month early but ready to go or December 5. Amy and Maggie are good friends already. Send along your good news to good friends.
