Tom Kenney has been appointed circulation director of Charter Publishing Company, publisher of Redbook and Womensports magazines. Tom previously served in the same capacity for Sports Illustrated. To bring you up to date, A.D. (after Dartmouth), Tom spent three years with the Marine Corps and two years at NYU. The latter stint resulted in an M.B.A. After NYU Tom became a trainee at Time, Inc., working in new magazine development and as assistant circulation manager of People. Tom was also assistant circulation director of Time. This eventually led to his job with S.I.
Bob and Karen Gunst have announced the birth of young Graham Robert Gunst. The little cracker was born at precisely 8:52 p.m. on October 27. He weighed in at six pounds two and one half ounces and "stood" one foot eight.
Lastly (Sorry guys, but that's all there is), Steve Cox recently picked up a fellowship in anthropology at the Smithsonian Institution. The fellowship will last twelve months, during which time Steve will be working on Dr. Henry Collins' collection from Southampton Island (of which I confess complete ignorance) while he finishes his dissertation for Harvard.
