Yoshihiro Nakamura has just returned home to Japan after nine years abroad with the diplomatic corps. He anticipates seeing a lot of changes in Japan. Most recently, he completed a four year assignment in Belgrade, Yugolavia, where he must have had a front-row seat during the changes in Eastern Europe. Yoshi describes his return to Japan as a rehabilitative period.
A card full of news from Bill Adler reported that Andy Winter was recently sworn in as ambassador to Gambia, a West African nation. Gary Horlick, an attorney specializing in international trade at O'Melveny & Myers, was cited in Washingtonian magazine as one of the best lawyers in D.C.

Boston Skyline, Wayne Wadhams's record label, has been meeting with success. A rerelease of a 1961 LP of renaissance dance music made the top-30 list last summer, and two holiday releases have proven to be very popular.
Wall Street Journal watchers may have noticed the article in the November 12 issue about Chris Meigher's new venture, a limited partnership called Meigher Communications, with a mission "to buy and start magazines and newsletters with baby-boomer appeal that can also be adapted to an interactive, computer-based format."
