Our 60th Reunion was a smashing success. We assume that Peter Cardozo has already given you the details, so we will not burden you with too much repetition.

There were approximately 132 folks in attendance. It was good to see some who have not graced our gatherings of late, namely Jim Parks, Wayland Avery, DickBaldauf, Obie Boldt, Harry Edmondson,Jim Garnett, John Hess, Art Ide, VanLee, Kenny MacDonald, LouOberdorfer, Howie Pratt, Don Sayia,Howie Rowe, Hilly Spitz. HassWarrener, Dick White, John Gray, and Tom Foote. The Man of the Year Award went to a most deserving Fred Upton. It was presented at our annual meeting in which all officers and executive committeemen were re-elected for another five years, with the addition of Al Tishman, who was elected VP to fill the post left vacant by the death of Lou Highmark.

And we would feel remiss if we did not add some figures from Bequest Chairman Bob Kaiser. There are 17 realized bequests in the amount of $2,601,736.61 and 42 life income plans in the amount of $5,142,087.01. We are sorry to report the deaths of Henry Harwood (May 7), ArchieMallon (May 22), and Eddie Wells (June 6). Obits in a following issue. Kitty Grant has just finished a book on the life of her husband, Charlie, which she says was written for her two grandchildren. MoreauBrown was scheduled to make Reunion but opted instead for the gathering in Hanover to celebrate the 200th anniversary of TheDaily Dartmouth held a few weeks earlier.

Ed Searles reports that he is managing real estate plazas and properties in Ohio. Jean and Charlie Thompson were out in California visiting a son in May, and spent some time with Frank Kline in Santa Barbara. Frank is busy nurturing his horticultural hobby, which features orchids and huge staghorn ferns.

Hope to see many of you at the mini-reunion on Sept. 23-24-25 over the Colgate game.
