So summer seems to have gone by quickly this year. I think many of you were on vacation, hence the dearth of news.

Luckily, I do have some bits to report. Congratulations to Herman Chiang, who got engaged a few months ago. Herman and his fiancee, Heather, are currently in the Chicago area and Herman is finishing up his second year at Kellogg. He spent the summer in the Bay Area working for Suns strategy group. The couple plans to wed next August.

Another '96 finishing up b-school is Timmeko Moore. Timmeko is currently at Columbia and spent the summer working for the Nesheim Group, an incubator in the Bay Area. Timmeko told me that earlier this summer, she met up with fellow sorority sisters Shakari Cameron and Lisana Gabriel for dinner, as well as other alums Heather McDaniel Willis '92, Llezlie Green '97, Arika Easley '98 and Jewel Jones '97. She notes that everyone is doing well and enjoying New York.

Sharon Lee was good enough to drop me a line the other day. She's finishing up her pediatrics residency at U Maryland. She mentioned that after all these years, she now has a little more time and has been trying to get back into her hobbies.

Another '96 that I recently got in touch with was Patrick Riehl. Patricks currently finishing up his Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Berkeley. When he's not busy researching orwriting, he's attending conferences across the country.
