The Dartmouth Winter Carnival is once again just around the corner and this year it promises to be one of the most spectacular ever. Harlan Brumsted is Carnival chairman and has really done a fine job organizing and co-ordinating the numerous events that go to make up a Dartmouth Winter Carnival.

Now let's take a look at some of the items of interest that have come in on '46's during the past month. According to The Manchester(Mass.) Cricket we note that Bob Hooper and Jacalyn McCormick are engaged. Bob finishes college in June and a December wedding is planned Vincent Guida was married to Yolanda Abate last November. The couple honeymooned at Lake Placid and are now making their home in Brooklyn Another recent wedding was that of Gil McDowell and Marcheta Sullivan, who were married in the Marquand Chapel of the Yale Divinity School. .... George Little and Rosamonde Cole announced their engagement last November, but as yet have set no definite date for the wedding. George is a member of the faculty of Tabor Academy at Marion, Mass Charlie and Bea French were noted passing through Hanover on their wedding trip. Charlie and Bea were married during the Christmas recess and are now making their home in Hanover. Bob Doran and Tina Pace announced their engagement early in December. Bob will graduate in February Met Hugh and Mimi MacNamee doing a little Christmas shopping in Wellesley over the holidays. Hugh is still keeping pretty busy with his studies at Columbia Med School, and claims that DonHutchinson is also getting along well and finding married life much to his liking PaulHoveman recently became engaged to Virginia Water. Paul is now a senior at Long Island College of Medicine. Another engagement that was just brought to our attention was that of Hamilton Bailey and Nancy Kitselman. Ham is now doing a little graduate work at the Tuck School.

Mai McLane has been getting his share of the headlines lately. He's been doing a grand job as captain of the ski team and most recently is receiving congratulations on his selection as Rhodes Scholar. Mai was an Army fighter pilot during the war and is a holder of the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 12 clusters. He also holds the Purple Heart medal, and was a prisoner-of-war after being shot down over Germany. The best of everything to you, Mai,—we're sure you 11 enjoy your stay at Oxford.

Engagements and marriages seem to be the order of the day lately and Spence Smith is keeping right up with the group. Spence and Lois Shethar announced their engagement over the Thanksgiving recess and a June wedding is now planned. Spence, who graduates in February, is president of the D.K.E. House, a member of Palaeopitus and Sphinx, and president of the Inter-Fraternity Council.

That just about winds things up once again so, in closing, I would like to request that you all send in any information you have relative to other '46's. Please try to let us know what you are doing and where you are so we can bring our files up to date.
