In Worcester, Mass., it takes two to increase your insurance premiums. Bill Davidson just brought his wife Phoebe home from the hospital with twin boys. CONGRATULATIONS to both of you. More of this from our fertile class should keep "real Georgi" Malenkov down on his collective farms. This brings the Davidson children to three; they have a little girl who I expect will have to grow up fast to help out with the new brothers alike. Thanks for your swell note, Bill.

My local appliance store shows much more aggressive selling on their Lux Clock line, I wondered about it and then learned that our own Paul Lux has been promoted to Industrial Sales Manager. Congratulations, Paul, and say, that was a very interesting article about your firm's use of powdered metal in a recent Business Week. John Sirignano of Brooklyn passed his Bar Exams in New York and, tough as they are, John did it the hard way; he lost his eyesight in World War 11. Here's to a fine practice for you, John. He was recently married and received his LL.B. at Yale Law School.
Two weddings this inning Dick Schoenfeld and Nancy Lee Barber of Patchogue L.I., N. Y., were married in February. They are honeymooning aboard the SS Mauretania on a Caribbean cruise. They will make their home in Patchogue where Dick is a member of the law firm of Pelletreau and Pelletreau. Ed Griffin and Marie Ross Le May of Mount Vernon, N. Y, were married here in Greenwich, Conn. The fabled Pickwick Arms was the site of their reception. Marie has been with Ruthrauff and Ryan, the Advertising Agency. Lorry Carpenter is a resident M.D. at City Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Bill Larson up in Rochester, N.Y., is a civil engineer for his fine Park City's Dept. of Public Works. OllieNelson, the old Detroiter, is a lawyer there in his home town. He is in the Guardian Building. Chuck Ashton is a buyer for Du Pont in the Augusta, Ga., division. Something in nuclear materials, Chuck? Al Schlosser has been upped to the head of sales training for Bauer and Black (Bandage Gauze unlimited). Al is living in Chicago, but recently went to Tuck school to get recruits. He also gave Tuck a jolt when he addressed the Marketing classes. He gave the boys the "from the field" word and they loved it. I noticed that the BillRileys were in Hanover for the Annual classic, the Alumni-Varsity stick and puck circus (tie 10-10). Nort Virgien is taking me to lunch tomorrow for Weed and Co., the radio and TV reps. He left ABC for this nice step up in the big media picture.
A gift to the Fund is fun. Say, the time is right for spring planting, so let's get going.
