Dear Gang — Before getting into the news, I should report to you the stellar softball game recently held between the Dayton Dartmouths and our adversaries the local Tigers of Princeton. The game ended in a five inning 9 to 9 tie and was followed by a victory celebration picnic which was enjoyed by both groups. Several '46s distinguished themselves for the Dartmouths including Frank O'Neill who hit two home runs and "Gimp" Scharrer who put forth an outstanding fielding performance in left field. Old Gus twirled for the Green but we really can't say they didn't hit him pretty well.
