Once again the news - nuptial, natal, etc. - is numerous; so without further mumblings, "On with the shew."
First we'll take another quick jaunt down the blissful path of matrimony (which seems more and more like the Merritt Parkway on Sunday afternoon). Lt. Jim Waldman married Ann Blake of Milford, Conn. Jim's stationed at Otis AFB on Cape Cod, where he and Ann, a graduate of New Haven State Teacher's College, will make their home.
Bill Slater and Annette Templeton were married this past July. Annette attended Bradford Junior College and the University of Michigan. Bill graduated from Columbia Business School last June and is now an exchange student in Oslo, Norway, where he and Annette spent the summer. Bill and Annette will reside in New York City when they return to this country.
John Baldwin and Joann Bowman were married August 30. Joann attended the University of Kansas and graduated from the Cornell University-New York Hospital School of Nursing. John's a senior at Cornell Medical School at present.
Freda Campbell will become Mrs. Paul Andreinin in the near future. Freda attended King's College at London University and the Cripplegate Secretarial College. Freda's a native of Chean, England, and is with the International Grenfell Association at their hospital in St. Anthony, Newfoundland. Paul's an intern at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, N. Y.
Al Abramson and Nancy Lou Rovner were married last month. Nancy Lou attended the University of Michigan and was a teacher in the Baltimore County School system, Al is associated with Archway Motors in Baltimore.
Lt. Preston Fletcher and Lois Ann Holwig were married in an October ceremony. Mike is stationed at Dover, Del., with the Air Force. Lois Ann graduated from Bradford Junior College and the University of Penn.
Dick Braun and Susan Davidson will be married next June. Dick received his M.D. degree from the University of Rochester Medical School and is an intern in the department of surgery at the Strong Memorial Hospital. Susan was graduated from Cornell University and will receive her M.S. degree from the New York School of Social Work, Columbia University.
Jim Tremblay and Maryellen Devaney were married this past August in Keene, N. H. Dick Targett acted as an usher at the ceremony. Maryellen graduated from Keene Teachers College. Jim and his bride plan to settle in Schenectady where he's employed by General Electric as a business trainee.
John Wheeler and Sue Dillingham became engaged August 22. John completed his 18 months' tour with the Army in France and returned to assume a position with the J. F. Wheeler Co. Inc. of N.Y.C. Sue graduated from Stephens College, Columbus, Mo., and received a B.A. from Syracuse University in 1958-
Bruce Alexander and Susan Fuller were married this past September. Susan attended the University of Vermont. Bruce and Susan will reside in Milton, Mass., after their wedding trip to Cape Cod.
Patricia Ann Kane and John Hunt were married this past summer. Pat is a graduate of Middlebury College, and has been employed by General Electric as an engineering assistant. John who's doing graduate work at the University of Illinois, completed his two Years' tour with the Army recently- John and Pat plan to make their home in Cham paign, Ill.
Lt. (j.g.) Tom Fleming and Carol Roberts were married this past summer. Carol is a stewardess with Northwest Orient Airlines in Seattle.
Al Root and Janet Greenberg announced their engagement last April. Janet graduate' from the University of Maryland last June is a native of Atlantic City, N. J. Al receive lis medical degree from Harvard last June md will intern at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N. Y.
Ed Haley and Judith Bennett became engaged early last summer. Judith is a graduate of Simmons College, Class of 1956 and is a linguist in the foreign department of the First National Bank in Boston. Ed graduated from Harvard Medical School in June and is also serving his internship at Strong Memorial.
Gene Elsbree and Marcy Wheeler were married this past September. Marcy is a senior at Stanford. Gene is taking graduate work at Stanford's Business School. So much for matrimony.
Shep Jackson was released from the Army last July and began working for IBM in Washington. George Bates graduated from Episcopal Theological School, Cambridge, Mass., and is serving as curate at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Ithaca. John Hapgood is currently taking part in a training program conducted by the National Supply Company, world's largest manufacturer and distributor of oil field machinery and equipment. Lt. George Chesel is assigned as a clinical laboratory officer in an Army hospital in West Germany. George was commissioned in 1957 and graduated from the Army Medical School at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Tex. Lou Turner is a member of the faculty at Mount Hermon. Lou is in the Science department instructing in physics and mathematics.
Dartmouth Class of 1977 - John Baily Rutherford, seven pounds, nine ounces, born September 12, 1958, in San Diego, Calif., to Scott and Dorothy Rutherford.
