Dek Davidson was one of the first arrivals at the Yale Bowl parking lot to make sure we would have our annual meeting spot. While Dek was filing our claim with the Eli land office, members o£ the class Executive Committee were gathering for a late breakfast meeting at the Three Judges restaurant near the Parkway.

The formal meeting took place in two large booths, with wives and dates occupying a third. On hand were Bernie Lewis, Bob Binswanger, John Rosenwald, Dick Watt, Pete McSpadden, Bob Brace, Vic Trautwein representing Chicago and the Midwest, Charlie Curtis representing Philadelphia, and your class secretary. Discussion topics ranged from regional class gatherings to a class directory and the financial position of the class (which is good, but naturally could be better). Bernie is planning a complete report to the class in the near future.

With game time drawing near, the committee traveled to the Bowl (following special '52 signs posted by McSpadden and aids). The group of more than 40 classmates gathered at the '52 site enjoying the beer and fellowship included Roy Abbott, Nels Ehinger, Bob Ringstad, Al Smith, Len Larrabee, Bob Medvecky, Bob Lord (back in New Haven after a year in France on a Reynolds grant), Rog Malkin, Clay Cogswell, Dave Drexler, Rog Harrison (in from Cincinnati), Whitey Dunlap, Jim Churchill, Em White and Ken Roman.

Also Harry Bingham, Ardie Epranian, Steve Mandel, Whitey Fier, Bill Fisher, Fred Form, Dusty Rhodes, Chet Wiley, Bob Jelley, Bob Herr and Bob Callender. It was a great affair, and having the Class of 1953 share our location made the event even better. I'm sure mv notes don't include all in attendance - My apologies to the missing. We'll get you next year for sure.
