Class Officers Weekend, May 10-12, brought together the nucleus of the reunion planners. Bill Subin (with Petie), Art Williams, reunion chairman (with Cookie), BobFinney and Kathy, Lou Gerstner (class' most eligible bachelor), Lie and I met throughout the weekend with officers of the Class of '64 and planned events and committee members' responsibilities. We are on our way and will keep you informed of plans. We'll split the country into regions and need help from the south, southwest, and midwest. If any of you can hear my voice let me, Bill or Art know about your willingness to pitch in.

While in Hanover I was surprised to find so many '63s up there. Don Wertz is assisting Coach Karl Michael with swimming; Bob Finney is working in the Development Office; Steve Garland is teaching math; MikeHerschensohn is teaching French and I bel ieve Bob Gitt is working with the college films - quite a representation.

It was truly a great weekend, highlighted by the continuing references by most college speakers to the activism and aggressiveness of today's undergraduate. Hanover hasn't been spared and Dean Seymour emphasized that the administration must take the initiative in organizing useful student participation and dialogue with the college officials.

Caught up on some news over that weekend - Barry Elson and Lynn are parents of Craig Andrew, born April 21. Barry is finishing Cornell Business School and heads for Toledo, Ohio, this month. Ron Rosenfeld is concluding his internship at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn this summer; I don't know where he goes from there, does he? Scott Little recently joined a Phoenix, Ariz,, law firm moving from Ohio and law school! We'll know where to send those Western referrals now.

I received a fine letter from Tom Marshall who filled it with news. He's on an M.B.A. program at Indiana, married and finished his tour with the Navy. For more than a year, he was at the Ram Island Yacht Club, Norwalk, Conn.

lust a few more notes for this season: The Alumni Fund and Third Century Fund need your fullest support. There just is no reasonable excuse for not contributing to both in a meaningful amount. You'll hear much more about the Third Century Fund drive shortly but you've already been contacted several times about this year's Alumni Fund. I was really disturbed that our Class was not doing better. It's time after five years to begin to show how our Class can help the College; how about it?

During the summer you'll receive the Newsletter so keep us informed of your whereabouts, news, achievements and families. See you in the fall.
