Bill Barnet, our keeper of coin, has asked me to remind you to send your $8.00 class dues to him as soon as possible. Besides covering your subscription to the Alumni Magazine the dues will help to fund the Class of 1964's contribution to the very worthy efforts of Dartmouth's Jersey City Project. We are attempting to double our last year's contribution to the project, and we need 70% class participation in order to meet this goal.
Tom Yahn has been named regional site Coordinator for Vermont's Regional Community College Commission's Windham-Windsor area site. Tom's previous post-Dartmouth experiences have included the educational directorship of New York's University of the Streets, work for the New York Environmental Protection Administration the United Puerto Rican Movement Community Development Agency, and New York's Yorkville Welfare Center.
Hal Rabner and his lovely wife Judy have recently moved to Montclair, N. J. Hal is an attorney with the Newark firm of Lowenstein, Sandler, Brochin, Kohl and Fisher. . . . Cal Christman dropped me a great note recently to let us know that he finished his Ph.D dissertation in history at Ohio State under a Mershon Center fellowship and is now teaching full-time at Ohio State. Cal's specialty is U. S. military history. His charming wife Nina and he enjoy O.S.U. very much.
Al Pierce, a San Francisco lawyer, was married in September.... John Fishel, according to Cal, was last seen to be married, out of the Army, and closing fast on a Ph.D. in political science at Indiana ... Sandy McGinnes, an admitted recipient of one of "Edgy" Burns' rare "book minuses," writes to say that he and Louise have moved into the top floor of a classic Beacon Hill townhouse in Boston. Sandy is now with the Humphrey, Browning, and MacDougall agency in Boston and has responsibility for their United Fruit and General Mills business. Louise is expecting a second child in April; bananas and Cheerios strike again!
Sabin Danzinger is reportedly working as a stockbroker in New York. Rumor has it that every '64 pictured in the "Greenbook" is about to be solicited! . . . "Goose" andGinny Aaron are well and happily househunting in the suburbs of New York. . . . Nick Listortl is still raising tropical fish and selling subscriptions to Life. Rumor is that Nick is tiring of the City.
Ron Schram and his lovely wife Carol just bought a house in Hingham, Mass. The Schrams are expecting their first child in April.
Warner Knobe and his wife Diane have two children and are living in Germantown, Wis. Warner is Assistant Vice President for we. First Wisconsin National Bank in Milwaukee. . Fred Meils has left Booz, Allen and is now Manager of Corporate Development for G.T.E. Information Systems, a subsidiary of General Telephone.
