Time to gear up the column once again. Must have been a busy summer as we didn't hear from you. Thought maybe Ed Hermance's letter would generate some response, but no luck.
One fellow we all heard from was John Clarke. Another outstanding Alumni Fund effort earns our thanks to John and to those agents who kept after us. Not much of a breather is in sight, however, as John is getting set to rev up the reunion giving program for 1977. Has it really been 13 years?
Jim Haines sent on a nice note from Pittsburgh. Jim and Marnie have two sons (7,10) and Jim is all set to teach English at the University of Pittsburgh where he recently received his Ph.D.
Hal Deane and family joined the Haines over the 4th of July weekend. Hal journeyed to Pittsburgh from Detroit where he is national bureau manager with Cadillac. He claims the big cars are more in demand now than ever. (Maybe people are sleeping in them?)
The old fireballer Robbi Cox has been named a partner at "The Kling Partnership," a business using architects, engineers, and planners. In case you missed it, Robbie is a former member of the faculty of architecture and of the National Center for Energy Management and Power at the University of Penna., and has recently been serving as project designer for Kling.
Get out the pens and pencils and help the old class secretary keep on rolling. In the meantime look for my old shiny head in the stands this fall.
